Pumpkin Photos

Well, hello, fall. Welcome to Virginia.  We've been waiting for you.

Every season I think is my favorite season, so right now I'm convinced it's fall.  By December I'll be praying for snow days and Christmas carols and guilt-free hot chocolate, but for now, I'm team Fall all the way.

For one, fall means pumpkins.
I think before my biological clock started ticking, pumpkins were just giant orange things that were messy and eventually would rot.  Oh, and something about seeds people eat. Possibly.  In theory.
Now when I think pumpkins, I default to this weird mom persona and think "awwww, pumpkin patch photos!! How adorable!!!!!"  (the exclamation marks should help you know just how ridiculous this obsession is)
Luckily, J-Man is pretty awesome, so he obliges and lets me take the boys to a little farm where they're all pre-picked. There we can quickly dump the boys in piles of pumpkins, snap a bunch of photos, and move along. Everyone wins.
Except maybe MDG.  He was pretty confused the entire time.  Regardless, it was a fun outing and the pictures mostly speak for themselves.  Maybe we'll be those people who actually do something with their pumpkins this year. You know, carving and eating and putting candles on the inside.

Possibly.  Maybe.  In theory.  But, don't hold your breath, just in case.
