Sometimes the looks this kid gives remind me a bit too much of his dad, or worse, his mom. Pretty sure I've given this look before. Yeah... really sure.
In fact, I finally made that doctor's appointment I've been putting off and putting off and, well, I didn't really like what he had to say.
(Have you noticed a trend that I'm not a big fan of doctors?)
I'll spare you the details and precise symptoms, but let's leave it to say that the doc said the best way he can understand what is going on is a colonoscopy.
Ick!
I told him no thanks, and asked for alternatives. He gave me an alternative based on his guess of the issue, and told me to come back. I followed orders, went back still not totally doing better and again - let's try a colonoscopy. Again I gave the look PDG mirrors so well and said no thanks.
I mean, I know I'm not a spring chicken anymore, but aren't those procedures for people in their 50s or something? And don't you have to pretty much starve yourself while sitting on the toilet for like 24 hours straight?
Ugh.
So since, although slowly, things are improving, I'm gonna keep at the trial and error and avoiding the camera-up-the-backside approach.
Goodness, who knew my body would still be reeling 6 months later? Good thing this kid is worth it all.
I would like to confirm that you have definitely given me the PDG look on MANY MANY occasions. No telling what you are thinking when you give it to me. Love that cutie pie pic below. Miss all 3 of you!
