It's weeks like these that I remember I'm pretty lucky. I take a few minutes to count my blessings and ignore the looming question marks and concerns. The world is a crazy place, but life in the G house is going pretty well.
I've appreciated all the responses and support about PDG's sleeping, and not sleeping, as it has changed week by week by week. This parenting stuff is as confusing as those smiles are rewarding.
But when things on the job front look up, J-Man showers me with unexpected flowers, treats, and tickets, and I feel somewhat rested (even if it won't last) I can't help but think life is good.
Now I'm off to watch my favorite musical with a great friend while my boys play together. I hope you're having a fabulous Saturday too
